The Deadly Tower of Monsters Review

The Deadly Tower of Monsters is a game at odds with itself. Above all else, it is a stunning visual ode to the golden age of science fiction B movies, from the early days of stop-motion wizardry in the original King Kong, to the 1950s peak of the drive-in monster movie as embodied by The Blob. The Tower of Deadly Monsters takes the qualities of these films’ endearing special effects and runs with them for five chaotic hours. It is also, however, a game that is content to ape B movie conventions in the context of a rote, overly repetitive Diablo-lite beat-em-up/twin-stick shooter.

The conceit of The Deadly Tower of Monsters is that you are watching a DVD of a film of the same name with commentary from director Dan Smith. Nearly every action you take is accompanied by mani…

Overwatch 2 Is Nerfing Several Characters, And Bringing Back More Crowd Control For Season 5

With season five of Overwatch 2 right around the corner, Blizzard has to share some of the changes players can expect going forward with heroes such as Junker Queen and Lifeweaver.

According to an Overwatch blog post, Junker Queen received a 5% win rate after being buffed and becoming one of the most popular tanks. One of her buffs allowed her to increase her healing via her passive, but to balance her out, her Command Shout will reduce how much health she receives. Before the changes, she’d gain 200 HP, and now she’ll only gain 150 HP. In addition to that, her ult cost will be increased since she’s “getting it at a faster rate than before the midseason changes.”

But Junker Queen isn’t the only one receiving changes. Since not enough people are playing as…

Season 1 has already been removed from Adult Swim and other streaming sites but as of this writing will continue to be available on Crunchyroll. Netflix Movie From Adam Sandler Adds Kevin James To Its Cast As NFL Coach

The rumored new Netflix movie Home Team, which hails from Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison production company, has cast one of its leads. Kevin James, a frequent collaborator with Sandler, is apparently going to play New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton in the upcoming football movie.

This news comes from noted NFL insider Peter King. He revealed that the story of Home Team begins in 2012, which was when Payton was suspended for a year due to his involvement in his team’s plan to purposefully injure other players as part of what was called “bountygate.”

During his time away from the NFL, Payton coached his son’s team of sixth graders, and this same story will be featured in the movie. According to King, Payton is involved with the movie, too. He recently read the script and…
